Welcome to the Dungeon Index
Regular users of the Dungeon Index may have noticed a change around here. The Dungeon Index is now part of the intwischa blog, where we provide commentary, advice, and game-ready content regularly throughout the week. We welcome you to read and comment on our blog. Thanks!
The index contains adventures from all print issues of Dungeon Magazine: issues 1 through 150, the Index should help DMs find the adenture they are looking for quickly.
Lost? Click the “Clear Filters” button to clear search data and return to a display of all adventures.
Much of the first and second-edition data has been populated by Martin Rayla, formerly of Treasure Tables and now of Gnome Stew, and nearly all of the 3.5 edition data was entered by “The Uranium Dragon” (an index user).
Thanks to their work, the index now contains all print issues of Dunegon Magazine!
Is it possible to download an offline version of this application?
Is there any way we can get number of players per adventure added?
@Urieal, there are 2 ways to go about that. First, if you could point me to a source that shows this, or are willing to do some data entry on the side
, I can do a pretty quick-and-dirty import.
Alternatively, I’ve been considering adding “user tagging” to this product for a while… that way, users could add their own data to the database. Unfortunately, since this is a hobby project of mine, the second way will take a bit longer.
I can certainly do some data entry, but user tagging might also be a good option. There are problems that can arise with a tagging system and it might end up causing you more work in the long run than you might like. Having to manage the tags could get really rough.
If you’d like to email me a specific format, then I can get started. I can also just start pumping data into Excel and then it can be pulled rather easily. Email or post here and I’ll try to follow up in the next few days.
This is epic. Thanks so much for providing us with this amazing resource.
Amazing resource indeed! Thanks a thousand times.
I have the 1st 10 years of Dengeon Magazine (issues #! to #60), all in plastic sleves and in MINT con. When I say MINT if you know anything about them #’s 1 to 6 were subscription only. Issue #19 still has the Deck of many things – unused. I am trying to find out a price they are worth. Any help on value would be great. TY
This is an fantastic- thank you for the hard work bringing this together!
Is there any way to make this downloadable as a file?

I am a brand spanking new DM and was wondering if you have any adventures for 4th edition? Also, the Dungeon Index is locked to the right of the screen, causing it to overlap text within the webpage. It makes it difficult to read, as well as select pages. Thanks for your hard work, I can’t imagine how long it took for you to do this…
I haven’t indexed the 4th edition stuff, mostly because I haven’t gotten the 4th edition Dungeon magazines. But that’s a good suggestion.
And you’re right–we’re in desperate need of a redesign! Thanks for the nudge.
Good luck as a new DM! I hope you find the content on the rest of our site at https://www.intwischa.com/ helpful in your games.
I’ll second the request for something that shows the number of characters. I’d like to further request an additional field (probably not searchable) that shows the brief description of that adventure (i.e. for “Guardians of the Tomb” in issue #1, the description is “The vampire is the least of your worries”)
And yes, I’m perfectly willing to do data entry, if you’ll tell me what format you need it in.
Can we download these somewhere?
Hi there! Nice work!!!! But I will do my contribution. Actually, Grakhirt’s Lair is for 1-3 levels and At the spottle parlor is for 2-4 levels.
The “Level” entries for issues 146 onwards have been entered as “5-0″ rather than just “5″, so they don’t show up when using the filter.
Actually, it appears to be issue 141 onwards…

I can get this to work, the index no longer appears? Tried Firefox and Chrome with no luck. I see the Clear Filters button only. Is it broken?
Yes, it was broken; now it is fixed. sorry about that!

I want to thank you so much for putting this together. I am not only our groups GM, but a father of three with a full time job. Having this available to me makes planning our campaign out 3 or 4 adventures in the future so much less stressful.
Where the $# is the index?
seems to be broken – but sounds awesome!
Yep, the Index is broken. We’re looking into it. Stay tuned
Please, correct it!
So… still no updates?
Could you put it in an excel or pdf?
Sorry for the delay. Charlie, who wrote the Index, has taken a leave from the blog, and I don’t appear to have access to the server anymore. We’re still working through this
Why is this not working or am I an idjit?
It’s not you, it’s us. We’re working through technical difficulties (see above for more). Sorry!
Is there a way to fix this crash?
